Several males to face the courts for different offences

Floyd Hudson has pleaded guilty to causing the 2007 death of Febright Johnson Jongue by dangerous driving.

The incident took place on October 14, of the mentioned year on the Grande Riviere, Dennery Road.

Hudson is currently on bail and will come before the courts on February 20, 2014.

Meanwhile, in an unrelated matter, Lucius Desir of Ti Morne, Union has pleaded not guilty to obtaining property by deception. It is alleged that in March of 2012 Desir took possession of a motor vehicle with the intention of permanently depriving the owner of said vehicle. He will reappear at court on February 28, 2014.

In other court news, Derek Mitchell will soon stand trial for allegedly causing grievous bodily harm to Mervinus Estephane of Vieux Fort. This is in relation to an incident which occurred on August 4, 2011.Apart from this, Mitchell is also charged with intentional wounding. He pleaded not guilty to both charges and will reappear in court on March 6, 2014.

In another matter, Michael Joseph of Blanchard, Micoud pleaded not guilty to a count of intentionally causing grievous harm to Sylvanus King of the same area. He will return to court on March 6, 2014.

Moreover, Miguel Edward of Gros Islet is facing a causing grievous harm indictment. This relates to an incident involving Clayton Sylvester at Dauphin Street in Gros Islet on February 11, 2012. Edward pleaded not guilty and will reappear in court on March 20, 2014 for continuation.
